Best gravy biscuit I've had at restaurant in a long time. Had omelette it was delicious. Service was good. Stay away from 1st seat near door on cool mornings. I would rate it about 4.7 over all.

Great breakfast, I had homemade Cornbeef hash with two poached eggs, wife had the breakfast sampler and son had head start breakfast plus bacon egg cheese biscuit. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious! Coming back in the morning for another treat!

A very popular breakfast joint. The wait was very short and absolutely worth it! Wait staff were friendly and prompt, coffee was very good and the meals were delicious! There isn't much exaggeration when they claim they have the best pancakes ever - the banana pancakes were superb. Very reasonably priced as well. Lived up to the hype!

Was told it was a 10 min wait which turned into a 45 min wait. Waited another 35 for mediocre food

Excellent breakfast. Super friendly staff. I had my Chow Chow puppy and we were able to eat at outdoor seating. Would definitely return.

The most DELICIOUS pancakes I have ever had, did I say EVER, yes EVER. They are melt in your mouth SCRUMPTIOUS. Southern Coney is a must if you are in the area.

This gem is one of my favorite places to eat before leaving Hilton Head. Smaller and usually pretty crowded but always worth it! Get there early and definitely try the french toast and omelets. The employees are awesome, funny, and very attentive too!

There was a short 15 minute wait. The food was good for the price. The employees were nice but seemed overwhelmed. When they did get a chance to make it back to our table, they were prompt to get what we needed.

Amazing service on 4th of July weekend. There was a short wait but the owner was present and delegating getting patrons sat and served with impressive efficiency. I will definitely be back while visiting the island. Excellent coffee and breakfast hit the spot for sure. Loved the banana pancakes.

We ate here twice during our week visit to HHI. Can not say enough great things about SCB. To start with the coffee is excellent and menu is huge. We had omelets and pancakes and bacon and sausage and you get the picture. Highly recommend.

Was greeted by Bob who was very nice ..he said to try the Kitchen Sink on a Biscuit is was great and my wife had the homemade pancakes which she loved Thanks Bob for the great breakfast

Was seated immediately and orders were taken. There were six people in my party. I ordered blueberry pancakes and bacon. The pancakes had plenty of fresh blueberries. Bacon was cooked just like I like it. My brother ordered an egg combo and a side stack of pancakes on arrival. Somehow the waitress forgot his pancakes. When reminded, another 15 minutes passed before the pancakes arrived and everyone else had finished breakfast. We arrived after the Saturday morning breakfast rush. The food was pretty good breakfast/diner style food. I could definitely eat there again. Prices were reasonable too.

Great pancakes. We got there just after 8:00 on a Wednesday and we’re seated immediately, but after just a few minutes it was getting crowded. The locals eat here and it’s a friendly place where everybody knows everybody. Several construction workers stopping in for a quick bite. This is a small place with a few booths and a few tables. There is seating at the bar where you can watch your meal being prepared. We would definitely eat there the next time we’re in Hilton Head. We had the 5 silver dollar pancakes with an egg and a side of bacon. Just the right amount of food.

Cool waffle-house ,diner-like atmosphere with great pancakes. I got the banana pancakes (you get 3 with the main order) with bacon. Would return for a quick and reasonably priced breakfast. They also serve lunch.

We had a very good breakfast there and was pleased with the quality of the food as well as the service. Everyone was friendly and courteous. I went back at lunch to get a couple of Coney dogs for takeout. While waiting I had a nice conversation with the owner and really enjoyed talking with him. Once again I was pleased with the food. This restaurant is a small place in a shopping center and can easily be overlooked but I highly recommend looking for it if you are in Hilton Head.

The pancakes were amazing along with the great customer service! We will return upon our next visit back to Hilton Head.

The hubby and I had a wonderful breakfast there. Everything was tasty, the service was awesome. Would definitely recommend this place if your in town!

If you are in the area, it is most definitely worth your time to stop and eat here. This restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch. In my opinion it is always a gamble, eating at a new restaurant. This restaurant was worth the gamble. When I am back in the area I will return. I want to try other items from the menu, from the breakfast and lunch side.

Great food and service! It has all the classic breakfast foods that taste great! I had the banana pancakes and they were delicious. Someone I was with had the veggie omelet which also looked very good. I am sure anything you eat will taste great!

Breakfast was excellent!! I had 2 eggs, bacon. The biscuits and gravy were absolutely the best I've ever had! My wife's chicken salad wrap was amazing! Absolutely the best!

Currently on a mini vacation in Hilton head, decides to try this spot for breakfast since it’s in walking distance of the room. I had a veggie omelet and hashbrowns. The omelette tasted real bland , seem like the omelette was cooked with egg yoke and not cracked from a real egg. The hash browns where hard and taste like plastic. My cup for my drink was also dirty. I was highly disappointed in this spot.

Had a wonderful breakfast. The fruits were fresh. Good selections and yes, the pancakes were tasty.

Some of the staff were really nice, others were just unpleasant. Food was good.

Toast was dry. No butter, bacon seemed precooked and reheated. Same as the very dry sausage patty. Really really nice place great staff. very friendly. Our waitress was amazing.

This place isn’t kidding when they say “Best Pancakes Ever”. Wow! Light and fluffy but still filling. Had good service and a nice table outside. Located right next to a liquor store and a tourist trap souvenir store - easily the best in the trio

What a great find! Bob was so welcoming and made us feel like one of the gang. Breakfast is my favorite meal but I'm not usually really moved by food. That being said, I am moved and Dena must have put her foot in my Cinnamon French Toast (meaning she did something special to it making it delicious ;) )! Great environment, quick service, very reasonably priced. My only disappointment is that they aren't open tomorrow... but even God took a day to rest, right? ;)

Small diner type place. Even though very busy I got a seat at the counter. My order was taken promptly & I got it as soon as it came off the grill. They have tater tots here (which I love). They were really good. Reserve some of the thickest pancakes I've seen. Apparently that is their special. Nothing fancy about this place, but the food is good & service was too.

Wife and I ate breakfast here on 01/05/20. She had the French toast special (bananas, Carmel drizzle and pecans) and loved it! I had the Kitchen Sink on a biscuit and the only impressive thing about this meal was the over easy egg was cooked properly. The place was busy but we got seated immediately. Owner welcomed us and waitress was a hustler! Asked for drinks immediately and was prompt on taking our order. I will return to try the pancakes. Customers were raving about them and so did people who left previous reviews. Prices were reasonable for a resort community. Just 2 meals (but no drinks) came to $21 and some change before the tip. Service 5, Kitchen Sink 2, French toast 5.

Homey little diner with nice folks and good food!We learned about Southern Coney from Antonio, the maintenance man at our time share, who swears by it! My husband loves local diners, and this place has that feel. The restaurant has a team of folks always checking on your and keeping you in coffee. Our server was Susan, and she had a beaming smile and attended to all of our needs, giving me butter, extra napkins, drinks, and even answered the phone when I called back after losing my phone charger and looked to be sure. My western omelet was fluffy, my grits were delicious, and I had the side of toast. My husband had the corned beef hash special with eggs and toast and enjoyed it. My friend noticed that the serving of toast was only one slice, cut in half. As I was full, it did not occur to me. This little place was just what we were looking for this morning, but it is a little hard to find, tucked along the side of a strip mall off Nassau Street near Coligny Beach.

Decided to eat here with my wife and two young kids while vacationing in Hilton Head. It was packed, which is always a good sign, but we got seated quickly. Service was prompt and capable, menu is full of classic dinner breakfast food but they also have specials.My wife had the corned beef hash special and said it was "magical". The breakfast sampler platter is a great deal and is some of the best sausage gravy I've ever had. My kids devoured the pancakes. Great coffee too.With prices that are extremely reasonable for a tourist town, we will be back during our stay and you should check them out too.

Man! So many great reviews already! Believe them!My wife and I shared the Kitchen Sink biscuit and French Toast. Both were great.The owner (I think?) is an entertainment and welcoming character. I really like that.This place is definitely on the "we will return" list.Hell, even the coffee was perfect. Straight, smooth cafe style coffee in a thick mug. Good stuff.

This place is amazing! We sat at the counter and my kids had so much fun watching them cook all the food. The service was fast and the servers and Bob were so nice and friendly. And the food. Oh my gosh the food was amazing. The pancakes were so light and fluffy and perfect. All the food other food we got was amazing too. I would give 10 stars if I could. Definitely eat here and get the pancakes.
